The deadline for the online application for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 that is to be conducted by the Maharashtra State Examination Council, has been extended till September 5. Therefore, candidates who haven’t applied yet can now do so, with the extension.

The TET exam is scheduled for October 10, 2021 for candidates looking to gain appointments as education servants or teachers in all Management, all examination boards, all media, aided or unsubsidized, permanent unsubsidized etc, educational institutions for Class 1 to 5 and 6 to 8.

The registration process for the exam commenced on August 3, with a deadline of August 25. However, the deadline for candidates whose applications are pending or who haven’t replied has been extended by the Examination Council till September 5, 2021, State Examination Council Commissioner Tukaram Supe has announced in a circular.

All government decisions related to the exam, ancillary information, instructions are available on the website of Maharashtra State Examination Council https://mahatet.in/. Online application form, examination fee payment, examination time and other detailed information is given on the council’s website.
