Despite a special list being issued for FYJC admissions, several students have not been able to secure admission in their desired college. In order to help these students secure admissions, the education department has kept the admissions open for these students on the ‘first come, first serve’ basis. The admission procedure has been segregated into three lists on the basis of student’s merit.
The students on the list will have to secure the admissions in the specified time frame and the admissions will also be given as per the availability of seats. The procedure is set to happen between August 25 to September 2.
The segregated groups consist of three lists, i.e. first list (students with 80 to 100 per cent), the second list (students with 60 per cent) and third list (students with 35 per cent). The availability of seats will be displayed on the website on Saturday, August 25.
August 25: Display of availability of seats for admission on website
August 27: Students in the first list (more than 80 per cent) can confirm admission online
August 27 and 28: Students should go to college by 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to secure admission
August 28: Availability of seats to be published on the website by 6:00 pm
August 29: Students in the second list (more than 60 per cent) can confirm admission online
August 29 and 30: Students should go to college by 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to secure admission
August 30: Availability of seats to be published on the website by 6:00 pm
August 31: Students in the third list (more than 35 per cent) can confirm admission online
August 31 and September 1: Students should go to college by 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to secure admission
September 2: Second phase of the ‘first come, first serve’ basis admission will be issued on the website by 11:00 am
