Mumbai College students bag maximum top ranks in ICAI final examination results

Mumbai's H.R college students have bagged 10 of the top 50 ranks in the CA final examinations held by ICAI all over India. The college made effort to ensure that the students are given the required attention and flexibility so that they could pursue their professional courses side-by-side. H.R. College has a reputation for being a CA-friendly college for the flexibility it provides to students by fine-tuning its activities according to their study schedules.

Prof. Dr Pooja Ramchandani, the Principal of H.R. College said, "Having so many H.R. College students securing high ranks in the CA final examination can be attributed to the college support to the CA students, giving benefits such as shifting the timing of the lectures as per their hectic study schedule, extra lectures for those pursuing articleship, helping students to get articleship by running regular articleship drives in college, adjusting examination schedule and holding additional examinations if the ICAI examinations are clashing with the college's internal/external exams. This has encouraged the majority of students to pursue CA as a professional career along with their traditional program in HR college. Students and Industry recognise HR College as a CA factory as approximately 85-90 per cent of our traditional B.Com program pursue CA and some from our self-financed programs too. We are proud that this year our college students have bagged 10 of the top 50 ranks and have made the college proud.”
