Students to get another chance to secure admission for FYJC

Even after organising more than ten rounds for FYJC admissions, several students have been unable to secure admission. Bearing that in mind, the applicants will be receiving another chance to apply for FYJC admissions in colleges. The schedule for the same was released by the Central Admission Committee and announced by the Deputy Director of Education.

The admission procedure is set to begin from October 8 and will continue till October 30. The Deputy Director of Education stated that this will be the last round for the FYJC applicants to secure their admission and added that after this, the admission procedure will be concluded. The fourth special round has been organised so that the students that were unable to secure admission till now (students with ATKT, students that had cancelled their admission, new applicants) can secure admission.

Meanwhile, the authorities have stated that although students cancel their previous admission and secure admission through the fourth special round, they must consider the fact that only a few seats are available. Therefore, they have asked these students to reconsider before cancelling.

Schedule for the admissions

• October 8, 11:00 am: Details of the vacant seats will be declared
• October 8 and 9, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm: Cancellation of previous admissions
• October 8 and 9, 5:00 pm: Submission of seats reserved under the minority, in-house, management quota by colleges
• October 9, 8:00 pm: Details of vacancies will be announced on the website
• October 10 to October 19, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm: New applications will be accepted and approval procedure of the applications will be conducted
• October 10 to October 19, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm: Submission of applications in the colleges after filling the form online
