Considering the rise in demand for LLB course, the Higher and Technical Education Board declared on Wednesday that they would increase LLB batches for LLB-3-year-course and 5-year-course. This decision taken by the government will surely provide relief to the students who are seeking admission in the academic year 2018-19.
This decision has been taken because every year, a large number of students go for LLB course. In the academic year 2017-18, the batches of LLB could accommodate only 60 students. This academic year 2018-19, for three and five year law courses, five batches will be reserved for the first year.
Likewise, in the academic year 2019-20, the minimum number of batches for the five-year-law course will be 25 and there will be 15 batches for the three-year-law course. However, law colleges will have to seek government’s permission to increase the number of batches.
