MU to begin admissions for M.Tech. in Kalyan’s sub-centre

Mumbai University (MU) announced admission for M.Tech. in Computer Engineering for AY 2018-19 in the most awaited university sub-centre in Kalyan.

Students’ Action Front (SAF) had been protesting against the university for not opening the sub-centre which was inaugurated in 2011. Last year in May, SAF protested once again for delaying the launch of university’s sub-centre in Kalyan. MU officials announced that it would open in the month of June. Finally, after a massive delay, the centre will be open and MU will begin the admission procedure for M. Tech

The admission forms will be available till September 3, 2018. Students will have to submit their application forms, documents and application fee by September 4, 2018, by 5:00 pm.

On September 6, 2018, the first merit list will be declared and between September 7 and 11, documents will be verified and admissions will be carried out. The second list for the vacant seats will be declared on September 12 and admissions for the same will be carried out between September 14 and 15. The first term will start post-September 18, 2018.
