The most awaited HSC results have finally been declared by the Maharastra Board. Students will be able to see their results on www.mahresult.nic.in, www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and results.gov.in. Apart from this, students will get to see their results on third-party websites, like examresults.net.

The overall pass percentage stands at 88.41 per cent. Among the nine divisions, students from Konkan have scored the highest pass percentage of 94.85 per cent, while Nashik has the lowest passing percentage of 86.13 per cent. A total of 5486 candidates have scored above 90 per cent in Maharashtra.

Alike every year, this year too, girls have outperformed boys, and have outshined in the boards with 92.36 per cent, while boys have secured 85.23 per cent.

In Mumbai, around 2,288 students got above 90+ marks, the highest among nine divisions in Maharashtra. Also, the students will get their mark sheets on June 12, 2018, which will be available from 3:00 pm. 


Revaluation process

Along with this, the revaluation process will now begin from May 31, 2018. In case a student fails, he/she can then appear for re-exams which will be held in the month of July.

The Board had conducted HSC exams at 9 divisions i.e. Konkan, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amaravati, Kolhapur, Latur and Nashik between February 21, 2018, and March 20, 2018.

Students have to click on any of the given websites, mention their seat number, type first three letters of their mother’s name in capital and result will be displayed. Students will be able to take a print of the same. Other than this, BSNL users too can see their results on their mobile. They just have to type MHHSC give space, write their seat number and send it to 57766.

This year, across the state, 14,85,132 students had appeared for the examination, out of which 8,34,134 were boys while 6,50,898 were girls. Similarly, 5,80,820 students had appeared for science stream, 3,66,756 students had appeared for commerce, and 4,79,863 students had appeared for arts branch.
