Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated 'Maharashtra International - the International Employment Facilitation Centre' of Government of Maharashtra by clicking the remote control at Sahyadri State Guest House in Mumbai on Wednesday, September 6.

An uneducated person earns his living, but the unemployed youth who have graduated are not ready to do labour-based work. To change this picture, there is a need to restore the dignity of labour, asserted Governor Ramesh Bais.

Today, in the age of artificial intelligence and machine learning, many skills are at risk of becoming obsolete. To overcome this, every youth needs to acquire more than one skill, the governor said. Along with technical skills, the youth should also pay attention to language and communication skills, the governor said. Parents should encourage children to learn more than one language, he said.
