Maharashtra: Nearly 29% SSC, 27% HSC Students Pass The Offline Supplementary Exams

On Wednesday, the offline supplementary examination results were proclaimed by the Maharashtra education board, based on which nearly 29 per cent SSC and 27 per cent HSC students passed, highlighted accounts. These exams were conducted in the months of September and October.

Throughout the nine educational divisions in Maharashtra, 13,969 HSC students appeared for the examinations. On the other hand, in Mumbai from the 5,089 who sat for the exams, 1,043 which is 15 per cent passed. In contrast to this, last year the pass percentage was 16%. This year, the district with the highest pass percentage in HSC was Latur at 47%, whilst Mumbai was in eighth place.

Whilst that of SSC, 10,477 students sat for the exam from which 3,053 passed. In this segment in Mumbai, 21 per cent of students cleared the examinations as opposed to the figure of 30 per cent from last year. In this section, students from Nashik showcased the foremost performance with a 50% pass percentage, trailed by Nagpur at 40 per cent, stated reports.

Those pupils who wish to verify their marks will have to go to http://verification.mh-ssc.ac.in and http://verification.mh-hsc.ac.in for SSC and HSC students respectively. This update comes in the backdrop of Mumbai University issuing SOPs for colleges as in-person classes began on October 20
