Mumbai University spends Rs 2lakh 80thousand monthly on University’s retired workers. This shocking information was brought to light by well known RTI activist Anil Galgali. Through the RTI, he got to know that Mumbai University has been spending lakhs of rupees on its 12 retired workers. Out of 12 workers, 9 workers belongs to University while other 3 are state government employees. Now Galgali has demanded Maharashtra Governor to expel these workers. Along with this, he has also demanded to set up an enquiry against university’s Vice-Chancellor.
