This year, the CBSE Class X and XII results were declared earlier and thus, everyone was expecting the declaration of state board results early as well. Accordingly, on May 28, the results for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Board exams were declared on the state board's official website and 85.88 per cent of the students passed the exams.

The HSC Board examinations were conducted between February 21 and March 20, in which, 14,91,306 students had appeared from nine centres across Maharashtra.


Mumbai gets a passing per cent of 83.85

With 85.88 per cent students passing across the state, Mumbai received an 83.85 passing percentage, i.e. 2.65 lakh students passed the exams. Around 3.16 lakh students had appeared for the HSC Board exams from Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the Konkan centre topped the chart with 93.23 per cent, i.e. the highest passing percentage in the state, whereas Nagpur was the centre with the lowest passing per cent, i.e. 82.51 per cent.
