2300 students marked with an average score as MU tries to fix the lost answer sheets blunder

Examination results of the 2300 students, which were pending due to missing mark sheets, were declared by Mumbai University of Mumbai on Tuesday. These students were given an average score.

After a meeting with officials, it was decided that students whose answer sheets were missing, will be given an average score.

Students whose answer sheets have gone missing have been given an average score based on the other examinations they attended. Their names and scores have been displayed on the website,” Dr Arjun Ghatule, Examination In-charge.

Of the 52,641 applications for re-assessment, 20,802 have been declared by Mumbai University. The results of the remaining 31,839 applications are yet to be announced.
