
Admissions are open until August 20, 2026, for the one-year postgraduate diploma course focusing on the thoughts and ideology of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, jointly conducted by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Research Centre, University of Mumbai.
The course is conducted in two semesters in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), with classes held on Saturdays and Sundays. The programme is offered in both Marathi and English.
Graduates from any discipline of a recognised university are eligible to apply, and there is no age restriction for admission. The programme is conducted at the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial in Sector 15, Airoli, Navi Mumbai, and at J.P. Naik Bhavan, Kalina, Santacruz (East), Mumbai.
The course is being conducted under the supervision of Professor Valmik K. Sarwade, Director of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Research Centre. The University of Mumbai will evaluate the programme and issue certificates to successful candidates.
