On Thursday, according to reports, the Ministry of Education has pronounced to add, a centre in Dubai for NEET, the medical entrance exam, this year.

Previously this month, the ministry also announced on how, the said exam will be conducted in Kuwait for the first time to assist the Indian student community there.
The NEET will be conducted in 13 languages that include Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and English. However, new languages such as Punjabi and Malayalam have been added.
The exam, earlier set to be held on August 1, was eventually postponed to September 12. The number of cities where the exam is set to be held has been increased to 198 from 155. Additionally, the number of examination centres have also been enhanced from the 3,862 utilized last year.
Reports mention that HRD Secretary Amit Khare wrote a letter to the Foreign Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs. Herein, he elucidated on how the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be curating another centre in Dubai, apart from the one in Kuwait city, during 2021.
He also elaborated on how the Indian community in Gulf countries will be informed about this, in the due course of time. He hopes that the Indian embassies in Kuwait and Dubai will offer their full cooperation to the NTA to conduct the exam fairly and securely.
