On Thursday, the Supreme Court paved the path for the National Testing Agency (NTA) to proclaim the results of the NEET-UG 2021 exams by staying the Bombay High Court decision to proclaim fresh examinations for two aspirants, highlighted accounts.

The HC gave the order on a plea by the two students that they were given question papers, as well as, answers sheets with different serial numbers in the exam.

The Bench stayed the HC order, permitting the NEET results to be proclaimed. They did so whilst stating that it could consider the situation of the two pupils comprising how they can be helped, comprehensively later.

According to narratives, Justice Rao mentioned that these pupils can’t be left in the lurch and the invigilator agreed to the fallacy. It was the NTA that went to the Supreme Court to appeal against the HC order.

The solicitor for the NTA elucidated that the chaos occurred for an aggregate of six students of whom only two came to court. Whilst the remaining appeared for the exam and attained good marks.

Therefore, the court reaffirmed that there wasn’t any reason to refuse results owing to a complaint of two pupils since the future of many students was in the balance. The case has been scheduled for November 12 to comprehensively examine if the students can be offered relief.
