Education Board has decided that every student cannot re-appear for the ninth standard examination.The deputy director of the education department has informed that students have to re-appear the ninth examination and schools can have their say to some extent.
In addition, if students who have got 45% marks in the examination but they have failed with the nearest mark in any subject, then they can appear for examination again. According to one figure, approximately 2.5 lakh children give exam for the ninth grade every year.
