The Mumbai University has the highest number of students studying in Commerce (B.Com) at the degree level. The result of the sixth semester examination of the academic year 2022-23 summer session of this course has been declared recently.

60,285 students took this exam, of them 15,346 students have passed, while 24,701 students have failed. The overall result percentage is 38.32 percent. 3,069 students remain absent from this examination and the results of 285 students have been kept in reserve, the Board of Examinations and Evaluation of Mumbai University explained. So far the university has declared the results of various 53 examinations.

Meanwhile, the Third Semester Examination of the PostGraduate Second Year Management Course (SYMMS) of the Institute of Distance and Open Studies (IDOL) of the University of Mumbai which was scheduled to be held from June 8 to 17, has been postponed. Due to insufficient study materials and the examination being held during working days, the students along with the Yuva Sena demanded that the examination be postponed and held on holidays. In this background, it was clarified from IDOL that the said examination will be postponed for some technical reasons and will start from June 29.
