The State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of an assistant professor, conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University was declared on May 24. As per the results, a total of 4,067 students have passed the SET exams. Students can view their results on the University's website.
The exam was held on January 28 in Maharashtra and Goa. Approximately 62,404 students from the two states had applied in the examination, of which, 4,067 students are eligible for the post of Assistant Professor. Last year, the pass percentage of SET was 3.92 per cent. This year it is 6.52 percent, which has increased by 2.60 percent from last year.

The University Grants Commission had changed the pattern of the exam this year which has resulted in the increase of students passing the exams.
