Students can now get passing certificates online

Students studying Law courses in the Mumbai University (MU) have received their results of five examinations. Also, students of all courses do not need to wait for a month but can now get their passing certificates online.


In order to study abroad or apply for jobs, students often require a passing certificate which serves as a valid proof of education. Till now, students had to apply to the MU for these certificates offline, then they had to scan and send it to the immigration offices or employment companies. This process would take over a month which would delay their admission process.

The management council on Thursday passed the decision to provide passing certificates online to students.As  stated in Free Press Journal Suhas Pednekar, Vice- Chancellor (VC) of MU, said that they have decided to provide transcripts of passing certificates online so that students do not have to wait for a month for the process. He further said that they wish to make all university processes easy for students and the students can now avail these certificates online from their homes and do not need to come to the University campus.

In addition, students of Law courses have finally received their results of five semesters. Danish Kiran, a student, said that he was waiting for his results for over two months and the results of Law faculty are always delayed due to lack of number of teachers to complete online assessment.
