‘Ab Dil Ki Sunn’ is all set to release their next chapter ‘Acceptance’ and it brings together an absolutely hot and fresh pair of Shama Sikander and Gaurav Chopra. Despite knowing each other for so long these two will be seen on screen for the very first time.
Talking about the experience of working with Gaurav, Shama says “It’s the first time I and Gaurav are coming together but we have known each other for years now. Unfortunately, nobody has cast us together, although there were a couple of projects that came our way but things didn’t work out. For this episode, I was looking for a male artist and I couldn’t think of anybody better than him. I needed a friend who understands me and this whole process. Gaurav has always been very kind and sweet to me, so when I asked him to come on board he said yes without any hesitation. On the day of the shoot, there were floods in Mumbai and nobody could go back yet he managed to come. We got stuck in the restaurant Barrel where we were shooting and the owner was very kind and generous to offer us food and shelter. That day I learned so much about kindness and helping each other in the time of need. It was a very good experience working with Gaurav and I am grateful to him for doing this for me.”
This series of seven short films ‘Ab Dil Ki Sunn’ is inspired by Shama’s life and life’s real incidents which have been fictionalised. This is her home production’s first venture. The series in which she plays a double role will come with a question at the end of every episode, which is relevant and not superficial. All the previous episodes have gained a lot of public appreciation and love. The 4th episode ‘Gratitude’ of the series was released on July 22.
The new episode is all set to come out on August 3 right before her birthday!
