After the terrorist attacks on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officials claimed the lives of over 40 jawans, there has been a wave of protest against Pakistan for their alleged involvement in the attacks. Throughout the country, people have displayed their anger by opposing the country and sportsperson along with Bollywood actors have condemned the attacks.

Accordingly, the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) has decided to not work with Pakistani artists and has voiced their opinion for the same, demanding a complete ban on them.

Filmmaker Ashok Pandit stated that the entire film industry is with the Indian Army and their entire family in the time of tragedy. Accordingly, cricketer Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina were also present and therefore, they took part in the protests held at the film city.
