Bandra – It has been some time that Sanjay Dutt is back home from jail. But nothing exciting is happening on his career front besides Rajkumar Hirani's biopic which has Ranbir Kapoor playing Dutt’s role. Finally, Sanju Baba has decided to turn producer and for this venture he wanted Alia Bhatt to play the protagonist. But much to his dismay Alia has turned down his offer.
According to reports, Sanjay Dutt approached Alia Bhatt to play the role of his daughter in his comeback film ‘Bhoomi’. But Alia turned down the offer without even reading the script. Sanjay requested Karan Johar to convince Alia as Johar is her mentor in the industry. But Alia did not relent. Finally, Sanjay approached Mahesh Bhatt who is his best pal too. But Alia did not get convinced even by her father.
The movie is about to roll on 11th February, yet there is an air of uncertainty about the female lead.
