After a successful run of Amazon Prime Original series ‘Comicstaan’ Season 1, the second installment of the series is already in the pipeline.
Amazon announced its decision to go ahead with the Season 2 of Comicstaan. It will return to the platform next year. The first season went on air on July 13.
Season 2 of the popular reality show will feature Zakir Khan, Tanmay Bhat, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastian, Kaneez Surka, Sumukhi Suresh and Abish Mathew. The show is produced in association with Only Much Louder (OML).
The first season of the web series saw nine episodes, where ten contestants from across the country are chosen to compete for the winning title and mentored by the best comedians in India. It is currently available with a new episode releasing every Friday.

Adding further Dhruv Sheth, Managing Partner at OML, mentioned,"'Comicstaan' was one of the most exciting projects for us in the past year and we are extremely thrilled and elated that it has been renewed for a second season so early to the launch of the first. We are going bigger and better in season two."
