Kabir Khan excited about his 'truly international' web series

Popular Bollywood Filmmaker Kabir Khan who is known his movies like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, has been elated to step into digital space with a web-series which is based on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army. He also said that it has a far wider scope and scale & reach will be beyond any Hindi entertainer.

Reportedly the production of the series is scheduled to start production by the end of 2017, it is said that the series will go live as on Amazon Prime Video India Original. The web series are being made under the working title "The Forgotten Army".

The web series is said to be a war epic that’ll be based upon several stories, including the contribution of women in the Indian National Army.

The filmmaker expresses his excitement by stating, "I am excited to make this truly international series which has a scale and reach far greater than any Hindi film,"

He furthers adds that, those are super exciting times for any content creator across the country and he was pretty elated to make his debut in digital space through Amazon Prime Video’s India Original.

Amazon Prime Video is also bringing in global talent and knowledge to collaborate with Indian scriptwriters and content creators to further hone their skills and know-how. Talking about the association, Roy Price, Head of Global Content, Prime Video, said: "We had made a commitment to our Indian customers to deliver high-quality, binge-worthy shows that they will love to watch, and our association with Kabir Khan greatly reinforces our commitment towards this promise."
