Mumbai - It's not a light issue. Veteran singer Asha Bhosle says she has been shocked to receive electricity bills averaging between Rs 50,000 - Rs 80,000 at her bungalow on the Tungarli Talav Road in Lonavala where she apparently resides just for a couple of days a month.
A considerably shaken Bhosle sought the intervention of BJP MLA Ashish Shelar for approaching State Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, who in turn has asked the Pune division of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (Maha Discom better known as Mahavitaran) chief engineer R D Munde to look into the matter and resolve the problem.
