Cultural Affairs Minister Advocate Ashish Shelar on Thursday directed to start a 'one window' scheme to allow film shooting across the state. In order to produce a maximum number of films in the state, promote this sector and generate employment, this one window scheme should be implemented to facilitate the process of issuing filming permits, Shelar mentioned.
Shelar held a review meeting of the department after taking charge. The Department of Cultural Affairs does the work of social enlightenment along with creating a large number of employment opportunities in the state. Officials of the Cultural Department were present in this meeting.
In this meeting, a 100 days program, plans and projects of the department were discussed. Shelar discussed various topics like implementation of the online system created for filming under the One Window Scheme, redevelopment and inauguration program of P L Deshpande Kala Academy, organising Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar special release ceremony, Maharashtra Bhushan Award Ceremony.
