Veteran actor Dilip Kumar's brothers Eshan Khan and Aslam Khan, have been admitted to a hospital here after testing positive for Coronavirus.
The octogenarian brothers were rushed to Lilavati Hospital on Saturday night after they complained of breathlessness. As per a report in Hindustan Times, both the brothers have been kept under artificial breathing support.
The report further mentions that Eshan and Aslam Khan are in ICU but they have not been intubated. They were admitted to hospital after they tested positive for Covid-19 via rapid antigen test.
In the month of July, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter in law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aradhaya Bachchan had tested positive for coronavirus. They were all also admitted at Lilavati Hospital. However, they have all tested negative and been discharged from the hospital and are said to be recuperating well.
Coronavirus has been spreading at breaking neck speed in the country. In India, Maharashtra is the hotspot for the outbreak. Today the state has posted 11.111 fresh cases of coronavirus. The death toll in the state has also crossed the 20,000-mark. The silver lining is that the state has managed to flatten the curve at Dharavi, which was once the hotspot for the coronavirus outbreak.
