Something very similar happened with Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji actress Kanika Maheshwari who surprisingly has learnt a special skill - the art of bargaining, by playing her character Meenakshi Rathi, onscreen
"Who doesn't love shopping? Everyone learns something from their character. I developed the bargaining skills so well that now whenever I go for street shopping, I make sure to save some money," is what Kanika has said to the media.
She was also a part Shashi Sumeet Production’s Diya Aur Baati Hum, season one of the ongoing show on Star Plus. The ended with the death sequence of Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh), its sequel Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji focuses on their children Kanak Rathi (Rhea Sharma), Ved (Mayank Arora) and Vansh (Kabeer Kumar).
