After a number of speculations and red dupatta flying teasers, tinsel town’s czarina Ekta Kapoor finally revealed the faces of Anurag Basu and Prerna. Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has introduced the lead pair of Kasautii Zindagii Kay Season 2 in the first promo of the forthcoming show. Popular actors Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan are seen stepping into the shoes of Anurag and Prerna.
The promo depicted the king of romance talking about the lead couple and introducing their characters – Anurag and Prerna. He said,
“Kabhi rail ki patriyon ko gaur se dekha hai? Ek ajeeb sa rishta hota hai inme. Meelon tak saath chalti hai lekin kabhi ek nahi hoti. Anurag aur Prerna inki story bhi kuch aisi hai."
The title track melody playing in the background of the promo gets you nostalgic. Also, the memories of Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan’s Kasautii Zindagi Kay runs-through in front of your eyes and makes you more anxious about the storyline of season 2.
Ekta Kapoor took to Instagram and wrote, “ANURAG N PRERNA ..!they were so different no one cud imagine them with each other not even them themselves... destiny laughed fate smiled and said ‘ u both will always b with each other ....no not LIVE with each other but LIVE FOR each other! Well, with SRK coming in the picture, the romance has fully blossomed and also the expectations from the new pair Parth Samthaan as Anurag and Erica Fernandes as Prerna has reached at its peak, as they have the revive and restore the magic of the earlier season.
The show is all set to go air from September 25 at 8 pm on Star Plus.
