Little Women written and directed by Greta Gerwig, has got six nominations in Academy Awards 2020, and after a long wait, the film gets a release date in India. The team handling the film has stated that 'Little Women' will hit the screens in India on February 7, 2020.
Little women is the seventh film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's novel published in 1868. The film cast boasts of popular names like Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet and Meryl Streep.
Reports state that the film collected a total of US $146.7 million and has been one of the most-acclaimed films of 2019. It was first released at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the theatrical release in the US was on December 25, 2019.
Little Women is presented in the country by Sony Pictures Entertainment India.
