Popular TV actress Hina Khan recently was accused for a jewellery fraud and a legal notice sent by the jeweller/agency was floating in the media. However, the notice has still not reached the actress. Apparently, the agency had claimed that the actress had worn the jewellery at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards which took place a couple of months ago.

The television actress' stylist who styled her for an award show has come to respond to this fake allegation:

Stylist Hemlata clears that Hina rejected the jewellery and the Stylist’s assistant took it from her and lost it before they were returned. Hemlata has already gone through the available legal channels and had lodged an FIR in Bangur Nagar Police Station against her assistants on the basis of deliberate theft in the presence of the owner of the agency ‘Saima’ who arranged the whole thing and was well aware that Hina Khan has nothing to do with the jewellery. Hemlata also said that they have been very forthcoming and cooperative to the agency so that the jeweller can get the insurance for the lost jewellery but instead she was threatened badly by the agency. And the agency never let Hemlata speak directly to the jeweller for any kind of settlement whatsoever.

Hina in a recent interview confirmed that she has not received any legal notice from anybody and had nothing to do with the whole story as she returned it to the stylist who sourced it through the agency. Hina also said that this is another simple hack to extort money and popularity over her name just because she’s a celebrity. But she shall respond legally once she receives the notice and will sue them through the provided legal options.
