Actor Rajeev Khandelwal is a charmer who loves to admire people and get associated with them emotionally. We have evidently seen him connect with his fans in the view as Sujal from 'Kahiin Toh Hoga', Captain Rajveer Singh Shikhawat from 'Left Right Left', and recently as Dr. Naushaad Rizvi from 'Haq Se'. Rajeev has not only entertained us through the characters but also as the host of Sacch ka Saamna. The handsome hunk has always been a splendid performer and is now all set to treat us with his presence as the host of Zee TV’s celebrity talk show JuzzBaatt… Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak.
Recently, at the press conference when we met the versatile actor, he spoke about the show, his choices, his aspirations and more…
Talking about the Juzzbaatt Rajeev said, “When I did Sach ka Saamna, I knew that I would get many offers to host shows. I was approached for many other talk shows, however, my first thought used to be about my contribution to the show as the host. It’s is not that other hosts don’t contribute but do it in their own entertaining style. I always wanted a show where a host’s contribution had importance and this show Juzzbaatt had one. It had a human connection and for me, it’s very important to have an emotional connection. In real life too I feel the same with the people I live or work with.”
Referring to the hosting part the actor elaborated, “One thing that I have learned in Sach Ka Saamna is to listen carefully and connect emotionally, so yes, I will carry forward this in Juzzbaatt too. There is nothing to unlearn as this talk show is a blank slate, nothing is planned. I don’t know how the personalities are going to talk or react. Here I would be the most ordinary guy, I don’t want to overshadow anything as the show is not about me, it’s about the celebrities and their charisma. I am only the moderator.”
Rajeev is usually considered an actor who takes a gap after each project. When asked about the same the actor averred, “People think I take a long gap after a project but usually I don’t, if I feel the project is very good, then I go for it. However, if I don’t agree with the content, I neither take it up nor do I go hunting for work.”
Finally, Rajeev mentioned that he wants to explore the theatre space. “I want to experience the feeling of performing live and for how long you can hold it up. I have seen Paresh Rawal performing live and as a performer, I wish to achieve the same and do wonders in that space”, aforesaid the host.
JuzzBaatt… Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak will rekindle many celebrities’ memories with their endearing stories and will engage the audiences through their motivational tales.
