Mumbai was shaken to the core when a picture of a visibly emaciated Vinod Khanna, heartthrob and Bollywood star of the 1970s, surfaced in the media on Thursday morning.
Khanna is reportedly suffering severe health issues and has been admitted to the HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Girgaon since Friday night. While there have been rumours that Khanna is suffering from cancer of the bladder, Khanna’s family has categorically mentioned that the former star is only suffering from severe dehydration.
According to news reports, Khanna’s son Rahul said,“Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon. Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he’s been receiving at the hospital and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in,”
The transformation in the actor’s health seems drastic though and his fans have already started praying that Khanna gets well soon. According to latest doctors' reports, fans can have a hope of Khanna getting discharged soon from the hospital. We hope so too.
