Richa’s iconic character of Bholi Punjaban in Fukrey garnered her accolades as one of the bold female comic characters in the films recently. The actress is all set to use those skills again with this new challenge. The first pilot episode of the show aired on September 24.

Talking about the same Richa said, "I am judging a comedy talent hunt and I wanted to see how it feels for the contestants to perform on stage. Making people laugh is a great way to live. I just wanted to see what an open mic event is like. My friend Kaneez Surka got me a slot; I performed impromptu and enjoyed it. I have a lot of respect for people who do this. I was nervous, but the comics encouraged me to go ahead. I was scared I'd forget my lines, so I wrote stuff on my hands. It was my little cheat sheet."

Further, it is also being said that Richa is all set to be a part of Comedy Improv in Mumbai and make the audience laugh, and this platform of engaging with the crowd has got her excitement levels high.

The actress will soon be sharing the screen for a film with Kalki Koechlin, titled Jia Aur Jia, where 2 women, who share the same name but different thoughts set off on a journey that changes their life but leading to the same destinyHere's the trailer:
