In a recent controversy, producer Ekta Kapoor had received death and rape threats on social media after Hindustani Bhau filed an FIR and raised questions over certain scenes of her web series. The latter stated that Ekta had disrespected the army by showing some scenes, which were later deleted. He also took to social media to ask his fans to support this cause and raise voice against Ekta and her show on AltBalaji.
Following this, Ekta Kapoor apologized for any sentiments that were hurt unintentionally, but amidst this, she also received some troublesome threats.
However, after observing this, TEDx Speaker and Defense Expert Major Mohommed Ali Shah who is an existing army person, has come out in support of Ekta Kapoor and has urged everyone to "oppose in a dignified way". In a recently uploaded video, he was seen addressing this issue, and the same was shared on several social media channels.
The veteran said that if there is disagreement it can be addressed in a civil manner and the army's ethos is showing respect towards women and children. He even said that there is no patriotism in using patriotism to threaten a woman and her children with rape, death and even morphing her pictures to troll her. His ultimate message was that there was no dignity in being so atrocious towards a woman.
