Earlier on Sunday Actor Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram to share that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. Later in the day, Malaika Arora has confirmed that she too has tested positive for this virus.
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are rumoured to be dating each other though they have not confirmed their relationship.
A source confirming the news to news agency IANS said that "Yes, she has tested positive. She is asymptomatic and has self-quarantined at home."
Arjun, on the other hand, had penned a note Informing all his well-wishers of his health status and requested people who had come in contact with him to take all necessary precautions, The note reads, "It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I'm feeling ok and I'm asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus."
A few months back, other actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had also tested positive for coronavirus. They were receiving treatment from a hospital in Mumbai and have recovered from the infection.
