Marathi drama contest starts Friday
Mumbai – The primary round of the open Marathi one act play competition will begin on 4 November. The contest is being organised in memory of Shrikant Thackeray. An estimated 45 one act plays will be staged in this, the 10th year of the contest. 15 plays will be staged on the first day. Some plays, with twists and turns in their plots, will also be presented during the competition. It includes ‘Owi’ by Zero Budget Production, ‘Alpviram’ presented by Model College, Dombivli and ‘The spurious’ which will be presented on the first day. The first round will be held at Shivaji Natya Mandir in Dadar. The final round will be held at Ravindra Natya Mandir on 17 December.
