Mumbai – Looking at the positive response to underworld-based movies in Hindi, Marathi film industry is also gearing up for one such project. The Marathi film ‘Rajan’, under the banner of Rhythm Movies, Mudita Films and Anusaya Enterprises, will be made on the life of infamous underworld don Chhota Rajan. The story of this film is being written by Bharat Sunanda who is also tipped to direct the movie. The real excitement is about the actor to play the lead role of a dreaded gangster. Writer, director Bharat Sunanda said, “Everyone wants to make something big in life and make a name for himself in the society. The person tries tricks, sometimes wrong ones, to achieve his goals. This changes his/her life completely and I have wreathed such a life on the paper.” Produced by Rahul Satdive, Darshana Bhadange and Dipti Shripat and co-produced by Kalyan Kadam, Dhanush Khandare and Hemant Patil, this Marathi movie is expected to be the next big thing in Marathi film industry.
