Already surrounded by controversies, Superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Kaala’ stands fewer chances of getting released in Karnataka. Moreover, Journalist Jawahar Nadar from Mumbai asserted that the film is a misrepresentation to support upper castes. He claimed that Rajini's role depicts his father's life.

According to the media reports, Nadar alleged that the film is based on the life of his father, S Thiraviyyam Nadar and reflects the negative role. Nadar had sent a notice to Rajinikanth and others who have worked in the film to apologise for the same within 36 hours or else he will go to court and will tag them with a defamation case of 101 crore rupees.

However, the producers of the films have not spoken about the issue. Also, the protests in Karnataka against the film can cause a huge trouble.
