At the press meet of Zee TV’s show, Jeet Gayi Piyaa Morre Mumbai live came across the pretty and chirpy newbie of telly town Yesha Rughani, who will be seen essaying the character of Devi Chauhan in the show. The actress is the female lead opposite Krrip Kapur Suri.

Talking about her character Yesha said, “Devi Chauhan is a family oriented person. Her motto in life is to never give up. She never steps back in life whatever may be the situation. She is emotionally very strong but when it comes to her family she is emotionally dependent on them. She can do anything for her family. Devi is today’s girl with yesterday’s values, you can find a bit of every modern girl in her. I see a lot of Yesha in Devi.”

On being asked why she chose to be a part of a role like Devi as her debut she shared, “I think whatever comes my way, I should acknowledge it. This is a very big opportunity for me. Whatever is coming in my way, I am taking it and experiencing each step. I think it is a very good start for me. Hopefully, things will become bigger and better in future.”

Yesha’s hometown is Gujarat; she has pursued her degree in design and fashion communication from Symbiosis Institute of Pune. She was also a part of various school level theatre plays. “During my childhood, I wanted to be an actress. I was very melodramatic. The universe brought this to me. In my first audition, I got selected for it. My parents have also supported me as they are the best parents in the world. I am the only child and very pampered too”, Yesha mentioned.

Further, she elaborated, “I don’t watch TV and movies. So I am not the right person to judge the content of any TV show. Acting came up very suddenly to me. I don’t have any person as my inspiration because my journey is my inspiration.”

When asked about sharing screen space with Krrip she said that he is a very supportive co-star and everybody else also helps her on the set. “My producers who have given birth to my character and brought me to this industry are too very sweet. They are like my parents”, quoted Yesha.
