Sacred Games S2 likely to be called off after harassment allegations against Varun Grover

Writer and comedian Varun Grover who is best known for co-writing the popular web series Sacred Games has been accused of sexual harassment in the trending #MeToo campaign. However, the writer has denied the allegations on his Twitter and later shared a detailed official statement clarifying the issue.

Varun wrote, "Here's my detailed statement about the completely fabricated, misleading, and defamatory allegations against me. Am absolutely willing to cooperate and clear my name. Let's not allow such agenda-driven tactics to derail this movement please."

Starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap’s and Varun Grover’s writing, the series Sacred Games was appreciated by all. After the success and suspense of season 1, fans were eagerly waiting for the season 2 of the web series.

However, now as per the reports, after the allegations being forced on the writer, it is said that Netflix is considering some possibilities to solve the situation. Otherwise, the platform may drop the web series completely or drop the name of the writer.
