Nitish Pandey, who played Rupali Ganguly's friend Devika's husband in 'Anupama', has passed away. He died of a heart attack last night on May 23. The actor was 51 years old. He is no longer with us. Everyone is mourning his departure. Earlier, the news of 'Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai' actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay's death left the industry in mourning and now Nitish Pandey's passing has shocked people too.
His last Instagram post is of 13 weeks old where he is seen having a good time. He wrote, "No caption. Just... After a long long time☺️".
Writer Siddharth Nagar has confirmed this news. He first informed about this by posting on Facebook. And later he had an exclusive conversation with Navbharat Times. He said that this news is true. While returning from an event, he got the news of Nitish Pandey's death. He said that Nitish had gone to Igatpuri for shooting. He suffered a heart attack there around half past midnight. They do not know much about when the body was brought and when the cremation will take place.
