Rajinikanth launches a website for 'Spiritual change' in Politics

The Thalaiva Rajinikanth on Monday launched a political website and an app inviting people to join his campaign to bring about a political change in Tamil Nadu. The actor uploaded a one-minute video wishing everybody Happy New Year and thanking all those who supported his entry into the political world.

"I have created a web page www.rajinimanram.org where members of my registered fans associations and unregistered associations and people who want a good change in Tamil Nadu's politics can register with their names and voter ID to coordinate ourselves.Let us bring a good change in Tamil Nadu. Hail Tamil people and Tamil Nadu," said Rajnikanth in the video.

The actor has accused political parties of burgling common man of Tamil Nadu. He said that his party will pursue spiritual politics and vowed to compete the next Tamil Nadu elections.

The 68-year-old bus conductor-turned-superstar of Tamil cinema addressed his supporters that his decision was a compulsion of time. Declaring that politics in the country had gone very wrong Rajinikanth averred, "Under the guise of democracy, political parties are looting their own people.".
