The world saw him as a skinny dance, who draped a white cloth on Aishwarya Rai in a dance sequence of Taal, Bollywood's popular films. Yes, we are talking about ace actor Shahid Kapoor, who marks his 14th year in the Hindi film industry. Before his launch as a lead actor, he worked as a backup dancer.
Looking at the filmography, Shahid stepped into Bollywood with his debut in 2003 rom-com "Ishq Vishk", following which he did give some flops. But that wasn't the end or a road block for the talented lad. Soon he added films like Jab We Met, Kaminey, Haider and Udta Punjab, to his success list by delivering versatile roles.
On completing his 14 year old journey, Shahid took to twitter to thank his fans. Talking about the same, he tweeted "Thanks peeps for the many wishes. 14 years of doing what I love. Beauty of cinema, you always feel like a student. Too much to learn. Too much to achieve. Too little time. Time to put my blinders on and run like there's no tomorrow. Gratitude and love. For believing in me."
The new dad in bollywood is currently busy shooting with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama "Padmavati". where he will be seen in the role of Rawal Ratan Singh.
