Matunga - Ramnarain Ruia College likewise past four years organised two days Sanskrit Mahotsav which concluded on 5 February 2017. This fest was organised under the aegis of Manjusha Gokhale (HOD, Sanskrit Department).
A literary session was also presented based on ancient Indian history and tales from the eras of Mahabharat. Present in the Mahotsav were Dr. Anjali Parvate, Dr. Saroj Deshpande, Sindhu Dabke, Dr. Shreenand Bapat and many other laureates. Over 300 people participated in the Mahotsav along with college students and teaching staff. Bharatnatyam dance performance was presented by the students in the Mahotsav.
