With over 2.5 lakh views in just 2 weeks, ‘Love, Raddi’ is the short film that has currently grabbed everyone’s attention. The short film is about gender biases which are often seen not only in rural but in urban areas too in India.

Actor- director Adeeb Rais known for short films like ‘Auntyji’ starring Shabana Azmi, ‘Baatein’ starring Supriya Pilgaonkar and the most recent Oscar qualifying Dafan starring Neena Kulkarni and Ahsaas Channa has a delivered a master stroke yet again.

'Sadda Haq' actress Harshita will be seen playing a dentist who is forced to face emotional abuse since childhood.

The 20-minute short produced by Madmidaas Films hooks you from the word go and slowly builds up into an emotional roller coaster that leaves your heart touched and eyes teary.

One of the highlights of the film are the superlative performances by Harshita Gaur, Sonali Sachdev, Rishi Deshpande and Adeeb Rais himself.

Harshita showcases great control over her craft and makes a rather simple character extremely likable. Adeeb on the other hand handles complex scenes with great ease and finesse. Both young guns match up to the veterans with ease and effortlessness and the ensemble does full justice in making their characters memorable.

‘Love, Raddi’ is tender, honest and strikes the right chords. We highly recommend this one.
