Mumbai - Bollywood celebrities came in support of ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, after the incident in Jaipur. Bhansali was shooting for Padmavati in Jaigarh Fort when Rajput Karni Sena created the ruckus and vandalised the set. Bhansali was slapped and assaulted on Friday. Many of the celebrities tweeted in regard to this incident, Sonam Kapoor's tweet did attract a lot of eyeballs, though. Sonam tweeted a photo of Narendra Modi which reads Arts can't have any restrictions or limits: PM @narendramodi.
Along with that pic, she tweeted - A gentle reminder sir... a couple of days after republic day if we as an industry have to deal with such humiliation for expressing ourselves, it's frankly very disheartening. Please stand up for us. #padmavati
We hope Sonam's plea is taken into consideration.
