Renowned classical singer Kishori Amonkar was given a tearful adieu at Shivaji Park crematorium here on Tuesday. The singer passed away on Monday night. She was 85.
A large number of people from different walks of life attended the funeral procession. Prominent among them were Kishori Amonkar’s disciple Milind Raikar, MNS leader Nitin Sardesai, Achchyut Godbole, Anand Ingle, Vaibhav Mangle, singer Arti Tikekar, Shashi Vyas, Mangesh Borgaonkar and many others.
