Sony TV’s show Pehredaar Piya Ki which had ended abruptly is back with a new title Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya.Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar will be seen as Diya and Rohit Suchanti will play Ratan Singh. In the earlier chapter child actor, Afaan Khan played the character of Ratan Singh.
The star cast has already started shooting in various parts of Rajasthan. The show is all about Diya and her sacrifices for Ratan Singh.
Pehredaar Piya Ki had been pulled off by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the show had received a lot of negative comments from the viewers. An online petition - ‘Obnoxious and Perverted series’ was also filed against the show stating that the content of the show had a severe impact on the minds of children. The storyline of the drama revolved around an 18-year-old girl marrying a nine-year-old boy.
