Dadar - Marcel Marceau renowned mime artist, referred to mime as the "art of silence." He performed worldwide for over 60 years. In his memory, a programme was organised at Dadar Matunga Cultural centre on 22nd September. The organisers of the programme were Mime artist Kunal Patil, Gururaj Vadke, Vinayak & Kunal Motiling. Colleges from Mumbai participated in the programme and showcased their performances. Few bigwigs of theatre world were also present at the event- Veteran Makrand Deshpande, Marcel's disciple Bapi Das, Kathak dancer Soniya Parchure and much more.
